Workshops

I’m passionate about encouraging creativity in others so I’ve developed workshops which allow me to impart some of my knowledge and facilitate practice and play.

I hold regular workshops in my home city of Bristol which can be booked via the links below. Or, if you have a group of people and are interested in hiring me to run a workshop with your family, friends or colleagues just get in touch – hello@ejits.art

Available Workshops & FAQs

  • Draw Like Ejits – A family-friendly fun workshop that guides you through how to draw cute Ejits-style characters and explore the shapes and colours of my signature style while putting your own unique spin on it. Perfect for people looking to get started with drawing.

Design your own Skateboard – Great for families who skate together or groups of skateboarding fans. In this workshop I give you paper templates to sketch out and colour up your own skateboard art ideas. You can even bring your own skate deck to doodle on if you have one. I’ll give you examples and idea prompts to get the creative mind flowing.

  • Creative Ideation – Perfect for corporate teams who want to work through ideas in a new way. You bring the subject and I get you thinking visually by activating the creative part of the brain. I give you short exercises to get in the right mindset and then we create a ‘doodle art’ style poster that represents the project ideas and themes through your own visual interpretations. You can then display this poster in the work place to keep you motivated whenever the team needs a creative boost.

Draw Like Ejits – Give those long forgotten creative skills a dust off and be transported back to the days where you doodled on your school books. I guide you through the process of drawing and colouring one of my own character and you get to put your own spin on it.

Tote Bag Decorating Workshop – Great for a ‘Drink & Draw’ style relaxed social. I give you the raw materials and some ideas and you have fun creating your own tote bag design. Then we permanently apply it to a bag with POSCA paint markers.

  • Cost can vary depending on the type of workshop including preparation involved and the cost of materials. Generally, if you want to hire me for a 2 hour session I charge between £250-£500 for a group of up to 15 people.

The best thing to do is get in touch via email and we can discuss your requirements and costs.

  • I don’t have my own space yet so I can either come to you or I can arrange to hire a space for the duration of the workshop. Cost of hiring would be added to the overall cost of the workshop.

  • The minimum is 2 and the maximum is 15. But, I find the sweet spot is 8-12 people. This allows me to be able to get around everyone if help is needed and builds a nice sociable atmosphere.

I can cater for larger groups, say if you had a class of 30 children or a large team. I would just need to adapt the session slightly to accommodate for not being able to pay attention to individuals as much as I would normally. In larger groups there is also the option to have assistance from someone that either you can provide or I can hire and would incur an extra cost.

Again its best to just get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
